Version 1.3.356

Added: Synchronize with Microsoft® Outlook® tasks, notes, contacts and calendar, except recurring appointments.  Support of recurring appointments will be added in the near future.  New task icons and corresponding right-click menus are added to mark TTA tasks to synchronize as Outlook task, notes or calendar items.  You can change the association, or remove the association completely so that synchronization will not occur with those TTA tasks.

Added: Can selectively import tasks, notes, contacts or calendar items from Microsoft® Outlook®.

Changed: Because of various new features, THE FILE FORMAT HAS CHANGED.  The program will automatically detect and convert old-format files to new, BUT THIS PROCESS CANNOT BE REVERSED.  In case you may want to use prior versions of this program, you should first backup the old files before running this new version.

Changed: Program version has changed.  If you have registered prior versions you can use the same registration code to re-register this new version.

Fixed: When a contact is selected to find the cumulative work times of that contact in the Task Log, the calculation can be wrong.

Fixed: When a resource is selected to find the cumulative work times of that resource in the Task Log, the calculation can be wrong.

Fixed: Hiding of completed sub-tasks did not propagate down sub-tasks that have their own sub-tasks.  This behavior has been corrected.

Added: Per-task hiding of completed sub-tasks is now saved in the file.

Added: Task Log's tree expansion is now following the main task tree's expansion status.

Fixed: If a contact or resource is selected, some of the completed todo items and tasks of that selected contact or resource did not appear in the Task Log and Day Log.  This behavior has been corrected.

Fixed: After editing a contact's name in the "Active" or "Highlighted" tabs all the contacts show up in those tabs.  This behavior has been corrected.

Fixed: When right-clicking on an appointment in the calendar, Task Log or Day Log to go to its associated task details, if that task is complete and hidden (as a result of the global hide completed task setting or a per-task setting) a program crash may occur.  This behavior has been corrected by un-hiding that task for this operation.

Added: When adding a task, the Task Details tab is automatically selected.

Added: When adding a contact, the Contact Details tab is automatically selected.

Added: Disallow adding duplicate contact or resource to a task.

Fixed: In prior versions, duplicate contact or resource can be added to a task.  When trying to remove contact or resource from that task, the duplicates would cause the program to crash.  This version will now detect and remove the duplicates before showing the dialog to select which contact or resource to remove.

Fixed: When updating a task's description or notes in the Task Details tab, the corresponding work periods in the calendar were not updated with the new description and notes.  This behavior has been corrected.

Added: When expanding the Task Log tree to show work period details, this expansion status is now saved in the main task tree so that if you click back-and-forth between the Task Log and other functions the Task Log tree preserves those tasks that you have expanded or collapsed.

Fixed: Hiding of completed sub-tasks did not work correctly in the "Highlighted" task tab.  This behavior has been corrected.

Version 1.1.348

Fixed: Calendar day view cannot be printed if that day does not contain any diary.

Added: Disable printing diary menu item if there is no diary on that day.

Fixed: Disallow any action in the calendar day view that can cause more than one running work period of the same task.  For example, if you schedule the same task to the calendar multiple times in the same day, and then start the task running, and then right-click on another prior scheduled work period of the same task, some right-click menu items that can allow the prior scheduled work period to run were enabled.  Having more than 1 running work period of the same task does not cause any real problems in the program but does not make any real sense.  This behavior has been corrected.

Fixed: The Active Contact list (by clicking on the "Active" tab in the Contacts page) can become stale and out-of-sync with updates elsewhere in the tasks and contact list assignment to tasks and work periods.  This has been corrected.

Added: Icons to the left of tasks that are imported from Outlook.

Added: Right-click menu of tasks to pick whether to sync the selected task with Outlook or not.  Synchronization of tasks and contacts with Outlook is being implemented but not complete.  A new release will be provided when this feature is fully implemented.  For now, please ignore these new menu items and icons.

Version 1.1.345

Changed: The task durations as shown in the Task Log is now shown as Total Time = This Task's Time "+" Sub-Tasks Time instead of using a "/"

Added: Allow hiding completed sub-tasks in a per-task setting using the right-click menu of the tasks.  This setting, however, is not being saved in the database at the moment to avoid file-format changes so the next time when you start the program or load the file again you will need to hide them again.  When completed sub-tasks are being hidden the same toolbar icon for globally hiding completed tasks is being shown towards the left of the task.  A future minor release of the program will take care of file-format upgrade and will save this setting for your convenience.

Added: Every task is internally referenced by a task number, which was not shown before.  However, in some applications like bug-tracking it's desirable to know the task's number when cross-referencing it with other paper trail.  This task number is now being displayed in the task's Details above the Task Summary text box.

Fixed: The program can crash if a running work period is deleted without first stopping it.  This behavior has been fixed.

Added: Right-click menu item in the calendar day view to allow a previously scheduled work period to start running at the scheduled start time and then continue to run in real time.  This behavior can previously be achieved by first "Finish Work Period As Scheduled" followed by "Resume This Work Period".

Changed: Right-click task menu to add a sub-task will now add the new sub-task as the first sub-task instead of the last sub-task.  We think this makes it easier to find the newly added sub-task as it will always be right at the current mouse cursor.

Added: If a task has a notes added a new "notes" icon will be displayed to the left of the task.

Added: Check if Microsoft Outlook is present in the system and disable the Import From Outlook toolbar item if Outlook is not present.
